Reminders not prompting

Have set up the reminder on both MacOS and iOS to prompt at a certain time, however after time passes, no notifications are received. When trying a second time to a few mins in the future, again no notifications are received. Both with the app open and closed on MacOS, and with the screen on and locked on iOS

Is the time possibly linked to a timezone?

I don't think there's a bug in the current notifications.
Note that the app only sends reminder when there is currently no entry for that day. Also make sure you did not reject the notification permission for the app. And note that the default for notifications is to "only show once". You can change that to "remind until entry was made"
I did a quick test and it worked as intended.
